SAP announced the SAP Business Network at its global SAPPHIRE NOW conference. The SAP Business Network brings together the SAP Ariba Network, SAP Logistics Business Network and SAP Asset Intelligence Network. This creates a community of more than 5.5 million organisations.
With the SAP Business Network, SAP creates an ecosystem for companies that do business with each other. Through a central portal, members of the new network will gain a holistic view of their supply chain ecosystem, logistics, traceability, equipment management, maintenance and operational processes. Rise with SAP for Industries
SAP wants to enable every company to become an intelligent enterprise. For this reason, it already introduced RISE with SAP in January. With RISE with SAP for Industries, SAP is continuing this. RISE with SAP for Industries provides business transformation-as-a-service with five industry-specific transformation packages for Retail, Consumer Products, Automotive, Utilities and Industrial Machinery and Components.
New solutions focused on sustainability
SAP customers will have access to a new portfolio of business applications with a focus on sustainability. SAP Responsible Design and Production helps designers make sustainable choices in the design and production phase, SAP Product Footprint Management monitors sustainability during the product life cycle and SAP Sustainability Control Tower provides a total overview.
